    Cary Krosinsky is a widely respected educator, leading author, and advisor on sustainable finance whose ongoing teaching includes popular courses at Brown, Yale, and NYU.

  • Dr. An is a world-renowned expert in clean transportation, energy technologies and climate policies. He founded iCET in California and Beijing to create a world-class think tank to promote policy changes for low carbon development and sustainable future. iCET has also formed a partnership with the US Dept. of Commerce to launch the U.S.-China Cleantech Center (UCCTC) to promote clean technology innovation and collaboration between U.S. and China.

    Prior to founding iCET, Dr. An served in numerous national and international institutions with various capacities, including US Agency for International Development, US Dept of Energy’s Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Argonne National Laboratory, and University of California. He also founded several California-based companies to solve energy and transportation problems. In the past decades, He has advised governments in China, US, EU, Mexico, Brazil, India, Thailand and Saudi Arabia on automotive fuel economy and clean energy policies. He also severed as an advisor to Energy Foundation’s China Sustainable Energy Program, Hewlett Foundation’s Latin America Transportation Program, and Asian Development Bank’s China Energy Management Project.

    Dr. An has been frequently interviewed by major international and Chinese news media such as New York Times, Washington Post and Xinhua News Agency, and invited as a keynote speaker by many international organizations including the World Bank, United Nations, European Union, International Energy Agency, OPEC, etc. Dr. An received his PhD from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

  • Cary Krosinsky is a widely respected educator, leading author and advisor on sustainable finance whose ongoing teaching includes popular courses at Brown, Yale and NYU. He will act as an Adjunct Professor at SIPA in spring 2022 to help oversee a capstone project sponsored by the World Bank, having previously done similar in 2020 and 2021 on Greening Global Pension Funds and Envisioning a Nature 100 respectively.

    His seventh book is on Modern China and the need for better relations to solve societal challenges, which will be out April 2020. His first book was published in 2008, Sustainable Finance, The Art of Long Term Performance with Nick Robins. He is also Co-Founder and Director of the Sustainable Finance Institute, which hosted its first event on the Future of Sustainable Finance in China at Peking University HSBC Business School in Shenzhen in January 2019, featuring leading investors with emerging investment solutions across asset class, many of whom are profiled in this upcoming new book.

    He is also Co-Founder of the Carbon Tracker Initiative, its parent Investor Watch and Real Impact Tracker, Sustainability Advisor, DeepGreen Metals and Principal, NPV Associates. He was a member of the NY State Common Decarbonization Advisory Panel appointed by Governor Cuomo and Comptroller DiNapoli 2018-19 leading to the fund’s $20B Climate Action Plan, and author/co-author of many previous papers including for the China-UK Green Finance Taskforce, for the UNEP Inquiry on the Value of Everything and for PRI in 2015 developing a framework for asset owners on climate change strategy.

  • Annie Liang-Zhou is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Liang Capital Partners, a private multi-family office, responsible for its education, arts & culture, and philanthropy divisions. Annie is also Founder and Managing Partner of Universal Pacific Advisors LLC, a cross-border consulting company focused on financial advisory, strategy, government relations, and cultural exchange. Annie’s non-profit leadership roles include Teach for China’s Young Advisory Committee, Beijing Cultural Heritage Protection Center’s Advisory Board, and Deputy Secretary-General of the Beijing Green Finance Association. Annie holds an MBA from University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, MPA from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and BBA from George Washington University.
